RED South West completed the four-star voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, described by RED Group as the UK’s first branded net zero carbon hotel. The all-electric scheme was developed as a practical prototype for a lower-energy hospitality model.
Its vertical photovoltaic cladding is designed to generate more solar energy annually than the building consumes, while integrated monitoring supports long-term operational performance.
