Retaining character while improving performance
RED London completed a £20.5 million refurbishment of Aviva Investors’ Grade II-listed Curtain House in Shoreditch. The work introduced new terraces, contemporary workspace and upgraded building systems while retaining the character of the Victorian structure.
Careful masonry, window, timber-floor, brickwork and steel-column restoration sat alongside ambitious sustainability goals. The completed scheme achieved BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating.
