Fortnum and Mason

The extensive refurbishment transformed the historic store through major structural interventions, including a four-storey central atrium and sculptural spiral staircase, alongside open-plan retail floors, new restaurants and hospitality spaces, redesigned departments and upgraded building infrastructure whilst maintaining the stores everyday operations. The works combined contemporary design and complex fire-safety solutions with the careful restoration of heritage features, chandeliers and finishes, preserving the building’s character while creating a modern luxury retail destination.
